Pixes is designed around local, browser-side image processing. This policy explains what data is processed locally, what limited analytics may be collected, and how users can control their experience.
Image conversion, compression, resizing, cropping, and similar operations are designed to run in the browser. Files selected for image tools are intended to stay on the user's device during normal processing and are not uploaded to a remote server for CPU-heavy transformations.
Pixes may collect lightweight event data such as tool views, upload starts, successful conversions, download clicks, and recommendation clicks. This information is used to understand product usage, improve navigation, and monitor service health. Analytics payloads are intentionally limited and should not include raw image contents.
If the installable web app is enabled, the site may store static assets and page shells in the browser so the app can load faster and behave more like a native experience. Cached assets are used for performance and resilience, not for storing private user image uploads as a hosted service.
